Re: The Flex Belt
Ok, I am nearly convinced. Is this like electric shock therapy? I mean am I going to feel little bolts of electricity like pinching me in the gut? I like to think I am a fit person however, getting my middle in shape has become a real challenge. Next to getting lipo I will try anything. Situps hurt my back and neck. However, I love cardio workouts, just give me the time…Anyway, adding a EMS belt to my regimine is worth a try.

Re: The Flex Belt
I have been looking at these belts for a couple months. I’m actually slender but I don’t have the “tummy” I want after having two kids. I’ve watched the add for the Contour belt many times and put the # in my cell phone with a plan to order it. I held off though because I was unsure on it’s true potential and did not want to throw away my money. I am a full time nursing student and mother of two, leaving me little time for excercise and little money to waste. However, I have come to understand the science behind EMS and have decided to invest for sure. I am getting the Flexbelt for the fact that it is medically approved and has a longer trial time. However, I would like to honestly give advice to people checking out these devices.–If you do have a little too much fatty tissue around the midsection, you will have to do something more to burn calories. But it can be as simple as a brisk daily walk, a run on the tredmill, or dancing you heart out with your kids.
If it is more than you are doing today, it counts.– In the end, it’s truelly the quality of life that counts and keeping healthy in any way can only help. |

Re: The Flex Belt
In answer to Marie’s query regarding the Ab Circle, yes it does work and everything the infomercial claims is true. But like Frog and the others who have commented, you cannot rely on just certain apparatus or apparel but you must also adjust food intake and carbs. I believe food intake is primary!
I am a former 3x bodybuilding champ and I agree with Frog regarding the actor who sponsors the contour belt. When I saw her abs I laughed only because there is no way you can get abs like that by wearing ONLY a belt. But yet, gimmicks like these are bought by the millions by consumers. |

Re: The Flex Belt
I purchased the flex belt so that me and my fiance could both use it. What I noticed is even though we used it the same amount of time everyday, he got results that could be seen and I didn’t. I believe it was because he had less belly fat than me. I could feel it working but I couldn’t see a difference. I can tell you these do work but they are not going to give you a six pack unless you diet and work out. A great thing to do is work out while your wearing the contour or flex belt. Also the more fat you have the longer it will take to see results from these belts. It makes me mad that they don’t tell you these things before you buy it.

Re: The Flex Belt
Thanks for the post! I’m glad I found it. I was looking for information on the Contour and after reading all the comments, I will be trying out the Flex Belt. I agree with many of the reviewers that you MUST exercise and eat healthy if you want the “TV” ripped look. I try to get to the gym at least 3 times a week and over half of my time spent there is on cardio.
The belt will replace my crunches which tend to give me back pain later. I have had back issues in the past and it is not fun to keep aggravating it with crunches. Hopefully this is a good substitute but in addition to a good work out and “healthy” diet. |

Re: The Flex Belt
Thanks for the posts! Will be trying the flex belt because of this blog! Was going to try the contour but have changed my mind. I will post results. For those people that are posting “rude” comments, alot of us are not just “lazy”. Be thankful you are healthy enough to do all the working out you want. I am not healthy and I am not able, and by reading these posts alot of others are not either and are still concerned about their body. One day you may not be “healthy” as you are today, so again I say be thankful. Thankful for all the “positive” posts that I’ve seen. Thanks Ryan for making this blog! How is the flex belt working for you and your wife now?

Re: The Flex Belt
I’m 5′ 1″, slender at at the average weight for my age/height, but when I decided to try to gain weight to increase my post-nursing chest (which did work by the way), some of the extra weight pooched in my stomach, and it will take minimal crunches to get my stomach the way I want it for spring and swimsuits
— I had considered cardio, but when I lost weight after having my two precious kidlets, I ended up losing weight in my chest- so yeah, no go on the cardio- I need to target my stomach.I already eat healthy and chase our ADHD daughter around, so it seems I”m always moving…I think I’ll give the FlexBelt a try– I too, was about to do the cheap trial for the Contour–think I’m changing my mind–thanks Ryan. Please update us on your and your wife’s progress ![]() |

Re: The Flex Belt
After reading this article I purchased the Flex Belt and haven’t regretted it. It’s day 19 and I’ve already lost 1.5 inches around my tummy. The workout is great and you can control the level/intensity that works best for you. It’s definitely worth the cost and there’s no hidden charges. Best of all, if you click on their website (the link is in the article) and exit out, they’ll offer an additional discount (it’ll pop up.)

Re: The Flex Belt
I ordered the contour abs belt before Christmas 2009 and did not receive it until the middle of January, after using it daily for the full 45 minutes I saw very, very little result even with the weight loss plan I was on. I sent it back as I was within the trial period. This product is a joke, maybe I will try the FlexBelt.

Re: The Flex Belt
Whether people think the Flex Belt is a scam or not–it is something that will get people to do some kind of muscle work. You would need to watch your diet NO MATTER what you use: Bowflex, Contour Belt, Rowing Machines, Jogging, Biking—they all need to work hand-in-hand with diet. If you are going to sit down and drink a 2 liter bottle of Coke and a pizza nothing is going to work and do not be fooled into thinking a Flex Belt will work if you still eat more calories than your body needs.
For years I was in bodybuilding until I managed to get cancer. After multiple surgeries I no longer have the abdominal muscle strength I used to have. Crunches feel horrible and I am going to try this belt for that ONE reason—to work the abs. I know that I will need to maintain a healthy diet to keep in shape and I hope that in all my ramblings that that one point is understood. |

Re: The Flex Belt
Wow this blog was really helpful, this is the second site i found backing the flex belt! Thank you for taking your time and helping people out b4, they make the wrong decision! I will soon join the airforce so i will have to work twice as hard to lose my belly fat. I just wanted a quick way to do it, since my goal is to lose 20 pounds in two months. Though i only weight 145, i will like to get back to where i used to be 130 lbs. But i have to agree with frog gym is the way!… but i will try the flex belt and keep you guys posted when i start using it.
And again thanks for this blog it really helped a whole lot! |

Re: The Flex Belt
Thanks for this very informative site. It’s good to view all the different experiences and see some professional opinions as well. I have been in the dance and fitness industry for over 25 years. There is NO substitution for hard work and exercise. However, for some of us who are getting AHEM over 40 and have have children–facts are facts. I teach 8 classes a week. I do tons of various adminal workouts etc. The bottom line is this, I am fit, not overweight, but my midline for some reason is loose and flabby looking. I’m very frustrated. Many women in my classes and fellow instructors voice the same frustrations. I don’t want a tummy tuck which what I keep hearing is the answer. I CAN’T workout in a gym 2-4 hours a day. Not in my schedule w/ kids and working. I need a little something extra to help me over my ab hurdle. I think the Flex belt will be my answer. I was afraid to fork out the money until I came acrossed this web site and saw the testimonies. Thanks all….you rock!
